The beautiful Barron Gorge National Park is only 20 minutes from the centre of Cairns. The Barron River half-day tour is a fantastic introduction to White Water Rafting. Offering guaranteed water levels year round; no experience is necessary to raft these Grade 2 & 3 rapids. Return accommodation transfers and all safety equipment included. Our rescue 3 trained guides will give you all the tuition needed for this exciting afternoon rafting!

Russell River Full Day Sports Rafting
This crystal clear natural flowing river is surrounded by spectacular rainforest and breathtaking scenery. Your adventure begins with a short 50 minute drive from Cairns to the Russell River. Morning tea is served before we share carry our light weight equipment through world heritage listed rainforest. Our guides will provide expert rainforest interpretation during this easy 45 minute walk into the river. Once you arrive at our crystal clear swimming hole our guides will instuct and prepare you for at least 3 full hours of ehilarating white water rafting, in two person sports rafts on this amazingly beautiful grade 4 river. Rafts are group guided under strict river guide supervision. Our guides will provide you with the necessary instructions and river knowledge to allow you to enjoy the personal challenge of sports rafting in safety.
Once you have conquered the mighty Russell our multi talented river guides will prepare you a sumptuous barbecue lunch before we have to return you to your accommodation.
